Production Capacity Planning
Production Capacity Planning is designed to facilitate capacity planning procedure for middle- and small - size enterprises. This module is an integral part of the Advanced Enterprise ERP system, but it could be seamlessly integrated with other ERP or along standing programs.
The build-in flexibility allows exploring the overall production capacity based on the traditional working/machine-hours or to use more rough approach based on daily production output measured in overall possible units to be completed for particular operations.
The straight design approach minimizes module settings, ease reconfiguration and readjustment for the quick production changing environment. Module meets Production-to-Order requirements and fills in the planning gap.
Production Capacity Planning could use weighted average production output as a measurement of the production capacity. User could set up safety limits to warn if planning falls into overcapacity range. User can edit operations' list, and make adjustments to the daily production output per operation per product or per group of products.
Production load could be easily controlled by adjustment to the acknowledgment date of the Production Orders. As soon as the acknowledgment date are settled the program provides posting of these dates to the database and production planning.
